Crypto Wallets

What is a Crypto Wallet?

A wallet is the tool that lets you store and use cryptocurrency. Unlike a physical wallet, a crypto wallet doesn’t hold coins — it stores the private keys you need to access them on the blockchain.

Types of Wallets

Software wallets → apps on your phone or computer (e.g., Exodus, Electrum).

Hardware wallets → small USB-like devices that store keys offline (e.g., Ledger, Trezor).

Paper wallets → printed QR codes or keys, kept physically safe.

Tips:

For small, everyday use, mobile wallets are fine.

Never share your private key or seed phrase.

Use hardware or trusted software wallets for long-term storage.
